We are a husband and wife team that will address every aspect of the
horse while it's in our care. Richard is the trainer/equine behavioralist who has an extensive educational background which includes: Connor's State College Equine Program 1984-85; B.S. in Ag. Ed./Animal Science Iowa State University (over 70 semester hours
in equine, animal behavior and psychology). His experience includes over 20 years of horse training, using Ray Hunt/Tom Dorrance methods. Prefers to work with horse and owner to help both understand each other more completely. Have had 100% success rate with problem behaviors. Vast list of clients and references. Wife-Dr.Peggy Miller (Auwerda) is equine extension specialist at Iowa State University. She is the professor for all equine classes at I.S.U. Numerous research articles and publications. PhD in Equine nutrition and exercise physiology.
