Ann Myers is a breeder of American Quarter Horses. Ann began as a little, city girl with a stuffed horse on her bed. Through her passion for horses, she has become the owner of a highly successful horse farm where she raised the famous stallion,Zips Chocolate Chip
Her small breeding program of the past 20 years has produced horses that (as of 9/27/02) have earned 7,965 AQHA points including 58 ROMs, 38 Superiors and $137,708. in AQHA Incentive Fund earnings. Horses she raised have accumulated AQHA achievements of 4 World Championships, 8 Reserve World Championships, 4 High Point wins & 1 All Around High Point win. Ann’s horses have been awarded 4 inductions into the National Snaffle Bit Association’s Hall of Fame and have accumulated $148,211. in NSBA earnings.
Ann and her husband, Phil, live in Ashland, Ohio. They have a 9-stall barn on their 40-acre farm where they raise an average of 6 to 7 foals a year. One of the most important additions to their farm was a double oven in their kitchen where they bake thousands of chocolate chip cookies to give away to promote Zips Chocolate Chip. They have one son, Rett, who loves ball sports.
